Gagne = Gagne

Thanks to Blue Cats and Red Sox for the reminder, but did you know that Gagne is the past tense of win in French? Could a French-Canadian (former) closer have a better name? As we saw today, Gagne in the game literally means you’ve already won.
And that picture? It looks like he’s so hot, his jersey is melting off of him. Love it.

I like that!
All of a sudden I have a tremendous love for the French!
How do you say: “2007 World Champion Boston Red Sox” in French?

Sure Kim. He really looked great tonight in Baltimore, being largely responsible for the Sox blowing a five run lead while the Yankees won against Cleveland.
And batboy: keep your callow enthusiasm to yourself lest you jinx us.
