More Futility

Let’s make that 49 innings without a crooked number and counting…
7/22 001 000 000
But not to worry, the Sox made a major trade and have now acquired…Adam LaRoche? Wait, you mean the Adam LaRoche who is currently in a 5/46 slump, with a whopping one walk? Good work, Theo. With the current lineup, he should be our 3rd best hitter!

Sure is a sad commentary when adding a guy like Adam LaRoche to your lineup actually improves your offense, but that’s the way it looks. We’ve got to find a way to get G.D. Dreadful out of right field and into the exit line behind Julio Lugo… that’s the position that most needs improving on this team. Ironic that it’s also the position with the highest paid member of the team.

Gotta trust Theo. To quote survinggrady.com, “How many World Series trophies do we need to win in this decade to convince you not to lose your heads. Sure, it’s fun to break stuff. But save that s*** for late September, when you really need it.”
Theo’s made weird moves before, but the Sox remain solid. We’re slumping. We’re not dead. We’re not the Nationals… Seriously, we gotta just trust the man. He has not let us down yet, even with the crazy, unexpected, and often argued-at the time-decisions!
I still believe we have a championship team and that any changes Theo and Tito make will be inteligent, well-thought out, and for the best, both this season, and in the long run.

How can anybody call Drew “J. D. Dreadful” and even imply he’s even remotely similar to Lugo?
If I were paranoid I’d be wondering if whoever wrote that wasn’t an employee of the Steinbrenners trying to talk Theo into doing something dumb.
Since I’m not paranoid I’ll just be thankful John W. is not in the Bosox front office.
